Fenway and I have been doing great! The more time passes, the closer our bond gets. He even sleeps in the bed with me, 3 years later, but who’s counting. When Fenway and I first started working together during the group training class, there’s one moment that stands out to me the most… I had to use the restroom and the instructor didn’t want us taking the dogs with us because we didn’t know the commands just yet, so I asked the woman next to me to hold Fenway’s leash. After walking about 20 feet towards the bathroom, Fenway darted after me because he thought I was leaving him! At that moment I knew he was going to be my best friend, my rider, my road dog, my right hand man. The feeling of being loved unconditionally can’t be explained. He’s been the most help when it comes to dealing with my disability. I’d like to thank New Horizons and Janet for making life that much better
