Hero has helped me feel at ease emotionally and it has become much easier for me to deal with my mobility restrictions. For example, he helps me with everyday tasks such as getting my shoes, turning the lights on and off, retrieving and picking up my clothes and letters, opening doors and draws, and bracing for me to help get myself back up from sitting or lying in bed. He’s an inspiration to me and others because of his unique skills and abilities.He’s a wonderful companion and has also helped me out with recreation as he’s always ready to go to the parks for walks and play time. We have developed an unbreakable bond of love, loyalty, and devotion. I thank ALL the staff at New Horizons Service Dogs who have supported me since day one.
